It was the fourteenth of February, Valentine's Day. I was out on a walk along the beach, it was early morning and I was fairly tired, but I just couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about Percy.... Again and again I tried to shut my eyes but anxious thoughts kept clouding my head, "will he get me anything?" and "what if he gets me something and it's rubbish". During the weeks before Valentine's Day, Camp Half Blood was buzzing with excitement. The Aphrodite campers had gone crazy with the decoratingevery cabin was thoroughly sprinkled in red, pink, purple, and white. Even the Ares cabin wore a heart-shaped wreath on its door.
